I have 2006 vx1100 deluxe. Wanting to know what would be a good unit to fit and a good way to fit to ski with no screwing needed. I have seen a flush mount in the key/ drink locker top.

Hey Mike. If your Yamaha has the key/cup holder like other models do then you need to contact Andrew from JETSKIFISHING via PM, email or phone as he has designed a bracket that works perfectly that can be purchased from memory.

Thanks

My VX doesnt have the cupholder but mine is a VX Sport - I think yours will be the saem though. I mounted mine in the bottom of the glovebox which means a couple of small holes in the bottom of it but wont be noticed if/when I remove it. Bonus is my unit has a GPS also and I still get satellite lock with the lid closed.

thanks for that. Is the transducer mounted external or inside the hull? If so do you need a different transducer for inside the hull?

Mine is inside the hull, if you mount this way you need to find a single skinned part of the hull.
