After a couple days of getting ready for the Nor Easter here in Poquoson Virginia and a couple days of cleaning up, I am ready to go fishing. I have the yard picked up and the all four garages cleaned up. Luckily only about 18 inches in the garages and none in the house. You can see the water line in some of the pictures.

Here are the cleaned and ready to be filled back detached garage / shop.

Thanks for all the replies and well wishes in my last post.

We lost power yesterday at around 1800 at the height of the storm. The wind was howling, the rain pouring and tide ripping in.
My wife, brother and I spent yesterday and last night picking up, putting up and tying in preparation for this storm. I had about 2 inches in my garage this morning and expect a foot to foot and a half tonight. House is surrounded and road impassable. I am going to take the cars away before tonights high tide. Should be fun cleaning up after it is all done. Here are some pictures from this morning.

I purchased this housing off Trademe but it doesn't fit my camera as my camera too fat.

I took a punt as my camera not listed on the website but would like to sell on in unused condition

Check website for details as has a list of cameras that it fits.

These are bag based waterproof housings with an area to allow the digital camera to zoom the lens out.

Have a look at :

Quite biased towards the American market (as I guess we are to the NZ market) but some interesting stuff once you register. They also seem to be lacking a viable off the shelf rod holder preferring the "hours in the garage" models, though most do not look like they would survive either NZ UV rays nor some rough handling as plastic or alloy ...

Whether it is a room in the house or a garage, show me what you have. I built a 28 by 28 detached garage a couple of years ago. The left side is my wifes, she like to paint and make stained glass. The right side is mine, I had my tractor and lawn mower along with some fishing stuff in it. I have shifted things around and now it is my dedicated Fishing / Jet Ski, Man Cave. I still have some organizing to do but here it is.

Wish my battery was flat as opposed to newbies!! ahh well hopefully we go out again this coming week and I can have some fish for dinner and try to avoid another wake. Was rather funny coming home and telling the olds they got no fish for dinz.... Also a question about wakes how do you avoid falling off?...
