Anchoring a PWC
I thought Id share the setup I use for Anchoring

I have a small grapnel anchor attached to 1.5m of small Chain then 15 meters of rope (going to add more rope) Attached to the end of the rope is a Bouy. I then have a rope (black in this pic) attached to the eye at the front of the ski and at about 1.2 meters or so have a figure 8 loop with a carabiner attached, That clips onto the loop of the green rope where it is tied to the bouy. The remaining couple of meters of the black rope runs back to the ski and allows me to pull the bouy alongside and unclip in about 10 seconds or less, if you have to take off in a hurry, or a shark munches the berley bag attached to the anchor rope.
Its useful for bait fishing or if you ever feel the need to anchor and all fits into my multipurpose blue bucket!

Anchoring
Cool idea, Might look at an anchor set up as got lots of room in the front. Nice idea regarding the bouy. Not sure you need it on the FX as you've got the retractable tie up's (not the right word but, I can't remember what there called)

Re: Anchoring a PWC
Hi Julian
Ah I also put berley down just above the anchor chain and normally will let out a lot of anchor rope, with the bow rope on as well it lets me sit right back in the berley trail and theres no bobbing of the bow as there is only lateral pull, no vertical - the bouy does the bobbing
Pics of the retractable tie up things? i presume cleats? My Fx 140 doesnt have them

Got ya
Good idea, I guess I was going for an easy tie up, hadn't thought about getting in the berley trial. Will add that to the memory bank!
Cheers
