Thought I'd add my pictures of the Kawasaki with a Eagle Fishelite 640C fishfinder/GPS installed.
Install is still provisional as had to remove the glove box and replace with a piece of Ply and then insert the FF into the Plywood.
Works quite well as sort of flush mount and the GPS antenna is inside the SKI attached to top of a plastic lunchbox that has extra battery and extra wire for cables inside.
Covered the FF with thin plastic from plastic box to protect from any wash over unit as flush mounted.
Transducer was trickier as no easy way as per the Yamaha units so had to get a piece of stainless steel cut and bent by nice guys in Pakuranga marine steel fabricators. Then mounted it under step as per yamaha's but sideways and then put a piece of ply behind and some foam to stop any vibrations.
And here is the whole ski with the far from Ultimate rod holder I made from existing chillybin and a plastic bin, and 2 rod holders screwed on the side - Have to catch some fish before I can justify Andrews Ultimate rod holder.
Just have to catch a nice snapper now

Look at that ... theres a little bit of Kiwi ingenuity in all of us!!! Good job most of us started with a much less desireable setup than that. Flush mount is all good and I like your transducer mount. That Kawasaki hull is awesome and has dominated the racing circuits for many years.
Your first fish will be a very expensive one!! But extrapilate out the cost of fresh snapper over a few awesome summers and it will be all worth while, especially when its all on out there and you can get a bin full within 8 mins of the ramp and home within an hour or so!!
