Re: what goggles do you use
I use smith motocross goggles, they are some training goggles from when I used to race MX, they are simple clear lens goggs, worth about 40$ from most motorbike shops.I use Antifog on the inside of the lens's they work well. no fogging, I have removed the foam from the vents at the top of the lens for better airflow too.
If you end up buying Antifog goggles, make sure you dont use rain X antifog as it contains denatured alcohol and removes the antifog coating, I use Vforce Antifog which is for paintball masks, it doesnt effect antifog coatings, hope this helps

Hi Pete, I use a pair of Adidas snow googles, otherwise any of the traditional brands are suitable as long as the water that gets though the foam at the top, can drain out the bottom. There is some available on Trademe, no name brands, you get what you pay for. The larger snow type goggles give you more vision, especially when it is raining. pricing starts from $50 up to $250 a pair.

Re: what goggles do you use
The idea around motocross goggles is where I started, however having really sensitive eyes in the light makes the trip painfully bright for me...
I started exploring and decided to settle on some 'blue eyes'..... http://www.blueye.com.au/ They are well tinted, have a tensioning strap so that you can't loose them in rough riding, and are spacious enough that my god given long eyelashes don't rub on the lenses... (I know that this may sound weird, but there are a lot of us out there I know!)
Another brand that was close to fantastic are http://www.seaspecs.com/... but my eyelashes didn't work with these ones...
A good point to consider when buying sunglass style eye protection is that polarized glasses are fantastic for cutting back glare on the water surface, but often impractical when actually riding... by cutting though the glare you can loose sight of waves, giving you a the occasional scare when broadsided by the one you never saw coming!

My Smith Goggs are big enough to wear sunnies, or glasses underneath...
if you want something different theres always one of these! Mad Max Stz

This is what I wear for paintball, I have 3 lenses, Clear, Yellow, and Photochromatic blue that adjusts its tint according to the lights intensity....
