Hi all,
I've had a Seadoo GTX Ltd for just over 10 years now, using it primarily for waterskiing. However, I've been checking out this website and thought I would
give jet ski fishing a go. Finding a pre-made setup (like the ultimate rod holder) for a 10 year old Seadoo was proving a bit of a challenge so after some really good advice
from Burnsco Marine, I built my own custom kit. Took it out for a test run on Sunday, (just to make sure it didn't drop off the back) launching from Castor Bay and shot out to the Rangitoto channel. Anyway, it all seemed to work really well, stopped for a half hour fish and manage to bag a 5 lb snapper within 15 mins so I have to say at this stage I am pretty sold on the idea of jet ski fishing.
Anyway, just a quick post to say hi.

Cheers
Logan

Great to have you on board Logan.

Have a look around for any topics that you may be interested in and always feel free to ask as there is a wealth of experience from all these fishos and jetskiers.

Good time to take upo the fishing option with a jetski as fish starting to make themselves available finally.

cheers

Andrew

Hi Keith,
Thanks for the welcome.
It would be good to join you fishing sometime. No doubt you have some good fishing spots. I usually fish up at Lang's Beach - I haven't fished in the Harbour/Gulf for years (excluding my lucky half hour on Sunday).

Cheers
