How'd you go Eddie?
Any fish wanting to be caught this morning. Will be interesting seeing the results of the Fishing comp that Andrew is organising as not using the change of light times to fish
Looking forward to seeing your catch.

Re: going out for a Quickie at Motuihe
Well, my intention was to get out at first light this morning; BUT instead I ended up talking to the great white telephone in the early hours which gave about 3 hrs sleep. This was not the start I wanted. By the afternoon I felt a bit better and decided to HARDEN UP and just get out there...."and so I did"
Arrived at the evening hunting ground at dead low tide and proceed to set up for the "running of the Snapper" (Motuihe channel)
While in this mode, I saw another jetski fisho coming to join me,... It was the newest team member Stephan who had brought Memfis's ski.
He is a well seasoned power boat owner now turned to the dark side (or good side) - JETSKI FISHING!!
After a number of slow drifts waiting for the tide to run, we were joined by THAT jetskifishing guy who was heading back after beening to the edge of the earth and back and wearing war wounds. Anyway, while we were gas bagging I thought it best to drop a gulp into the depths,..as apparently, this is what you need to do the catch dinner!! OOOHHH Yeah I was on to a string puller, it ran, it ran HARD!! The fight was on and started to turn the ski and toe me!! This little bugger didn't want to be turned as he kept taking more line.
Anyway, I'll make a long story short,..."he was a 56cm snap snap and he's going to be ALL eaten up for dinner tomorrow night"
(i'll up load some photo's tomorrow night, as I lacking just a few hours zzzzz)
