Monday 1st March - Fish anyone
The weather looks good for Monday and wondered if anyone interested in a fish in the morning.
I have to get the kids off to school and then am free for a few hours so wanted to go somewhere closer to Howick e.g. launch BB ramp (could even launch at Eastern Beach as long as back by 12 noon).
High tide is about 8:20am and so should be good about when I can get to the ramp.
All going well I can be at the ramp by 9:15am to 9:30am so if anyone interested I'd love the company.
Think of it as practice for 13 days later in the competition.

re: MONDAY 1ST MARCH - FISH ANYONE
I would be in for a fish on Monday morning. (I don't believe in working Mondays if I can help it :-).
A launch around 9:15 to 9:30 would be good. I am over on the North Shore so would probably launch from Takapuna.
However I would be happy to meet up at a fishing spot somewhere/anywhere out in the harbour/gulf.
Also hoping to head out tomorrow morning (Sunday) for a fish if anyone interested. I'm on call for work but the morning looks clear at this stage.

Not sure where to go - thought maybe around Crusoe rock (either side) or could try the Motuihe Channel.
Would prefer not to go too far as don't want to get back too late to clean up and retrieve kids from school.
If you have any ideas then get back to us -

RE: MONDAY 1ST MARCH - FISH ANYONE
Happy to go where ever suits you best so that you can get back in time for pick up of the kids. I can cruise back to the shore as my wife is doing
kindy pickup.
As for places to go, well I'm fairly new to this jetskifishing game so haven't built up much of a repertoire of places to fish but have had a bit of success around Crusoe rock so more than happy to go there.

Re: Monday 1st March - Fish anyone
I am intending to launch as soon after get to BB ramp Monday so about 15-20 to Curusoe Rock.
I reckon I will be there about 9:30am to 9:45am
Hope the swells aren't as much "Fun" as the team had saturday night, though the tsunami sounds interesting - guess you'd have to use quite a heavy jighead to counter the current.
Well all going well I'll be there Monday
Andrew - phone on the water 021 0625835 (smaller and not a flip phone as hard to flip when in a bag)

RE: MONDAY 1ST MARCH - FISH ANYONE
I'm happy for a launch around 9am at Takapuna boat ramp which should mean getting out to Crusoe about 9:30 I guess (maybe earlier as conditions look good - assuming no more tsunami warnings). Could launch a bit earlier if others keen to go earlier (but not too early!)
What time were you looking at launching at Takapuna Keith?
