which oil ?
Hi Jase
Im going to change the oil in my ski shortly and was wondering what you are using/would recommend.
Was looking at Elf Competition GT 10w30 synth. Its what I run in my zx9r and my mates in their zx10r/gsxr1000/R1, the R1 being basically the same engine as my FX140.
Also im on the hunt for a Service Manual for the FX ... I have owners manual, and supplementary service manual...

Re: which oil ?
Hi Jase
Cheers for that, Have run Elf in racecars and racebikes in the past and found it good.
What are your reasons for running mineral ? Ive only ever used it running new engines in.

Re: which oil ?
most of the manufactures i deal with prefer mineral oil ,and in seadoos with a supercharger they need to run a mineral oil or a oil with a jaso rating that doesnt contain friction modifiers and is suitable for a wet clutch setup.
i have only used elf 2 stroke oils never there 4 stroke oil so i cannot comment on how good or bad it is.
cheers
