Another East Aucklander
Hi guys,
Was great to meet some of you out on the water this weekend.
Had my ski for a few weeks now, this was the first chance I've had to get out for a fish.
Yesterday I had a bit of a late start - result zero fish on board.
Today met up with Innsie and a few others at Bucklands Beach, had a great couple of hours. Ended up with 6 fish with the biggest at 3.6kg.
Am now hooked, why didn't I do this years ago?
Look forward to many more trips out on the water.
Cheers
Dave

Re: Another East Aucklander
Welcome Dave. After a session like that there is no need for me to tell you, that you WILL get addicted, and as you said, already ARE!!!
Sorry I didn't get a chance to come across and chat once you guys rode out to where the fish were at, but seeing your rod tip folded to the water and snapper being netted you looked well under control and I was focussed on filling my bin.!!
See ya next time.

Cheers Mark,
I'm sure I'll see you out there soon. I think Andrew is looking forward to getting our skis together for a photo opportunity . Will make a point of introducing myself between the fish next time out.

Hi Dave and well done!
Yep - it's a great sport and really is fun even if you catch nothing some times. To get 6 first time out is awesome!!! 3.6kg even sweeter. Well done. I think they'll be making us all apply for an official quota soon
