Hi Guys,

Would really love the oppertunity to join any of yous on your fishing trips.
I have got a Kawaski STX 1100 with fishing kit just installed.
I have used it for months and this will be the first time fishing.
Would love to go either Saturday or Sunday with anyone going.
I still need to buy the basic Soft bait set up, which i will hopefully get Tomorrow.
Any ideas on what the necasary rod/reel and baits i need would be very helpful.
I live in the Manukau area, but dont mind going out east or south.

Please email or txt me on 021 336 411 my name is Alex.

Thanks heaps guys, and hopefully we can go fishing soon.

cheers Very Happy

Welcome to the group.

As Scowner says Topcatch at Half Moon Bay marina are a great place to start for gear.
There is a softbait seminar there Thursday night - Andrew Hill (Jetskifishing) posted somewhere today about it.
Good place to ask questions and then spend money as they have a great selection there.

I too am a newish jetskifisher and though not available every weekend I'm also keen to try some fishing with others as never seems to work out meeting up with others. Have a Kawasaki STX 15F - so welcome to another Kawasaki owner (all seem to be Seadoo or Yamaha around here)

I live near Botany Town Centre and you are welcome to send a personal message via this site or

Hi Guys,

thank you so much for welcoming me onboard.
I look forward catching up with you for a Fish.
I will be going to the seminar tonight and buying my rigs, looking forward to this.
I see by the weather report this sunday is looking pretty good, however the tide is really early for the east side. the Manukau is a better time as two hours later, however, would know where to go in that muddy water?
If any of you are keen for Sunday i would love to join.

Please let me know where and when.

Cheers,

Alex 021 336 411
