Mr Tomov is renowned for his Tuesday trips so if anyone is thinking of getting wet during the week or has flexible hours... you can bet Alex will be on the water somewhere, so get into it!!

Re: Qwick trip to Crusoe tomorow 10/11
Well recently I started wakebording and in a moment of madness bet my son that by the end of march i will lend a flip , so i am keeping my weekends for practising on the wakeboard.I am sure i have lost that bet but my son doesnt know it yet. If anyone can give me any tips about wakeboarding I will be more than thankfull.

Re: Qwick trip to Crusoe tomorow 10/11
The key to a nailing a flip on the wakeboard, is to focus on a back flip, as it is many find it much simpler than a front flip. The key ultimately is to lead with your head and sight and your body will follow. This is all possible once you are getting sufficient height off the wake (that is unless you are talented enough like a mate of mine Brett who pops them outside the wake with no wake required)
Practice on a trampoline if you have one, then attach a rope and handle to a tree or fence and practice with that as you will get used to the position of the handle and also the force/pull of the rope if you move backwards. Once you are on the water PLEASE stretch before hand and also stretch your neck muscles as you will land many attempts upside down head first into the water at 25 odd mph. Stretch them well by placing your hand on each side of your head and froint and back and push your head into your hand whilst pushing back against it each position at a time, combined with other neck and body stretching excercises.
I spent years cursing myself with sore necks from bad falls and forgetting to stretch before waterskiing, wakeboarding, barefooting etc etc
Anyway go hard, go high and win that bet !!
