lowrance hds 5 vs Humminbird 788cxi

Anyone got any opinions on the new hds units vs the humminbird. They are both going for $1999 at Smart Marine at the moment.

RE lowrance hds 5 vs Humminbird 788cxi

Hey there Sconer, I have been using my Humminbird 788cxi for about 3 months now and must say, I am well impressed! I can’t compare it to the Lowrance hds5 as I have never used one of them. Before this one I had a Lowrance xd50 which was nowhere near the Humminbird 788, but you couldn’t compare the xd with the hds either. Good luck either way.
