Scalloping on the Manukau tonight
Going out for a scallop after work tonight from Clarks Beach on the ski. Might end up going solo if the Mrs doesn't get home early.
Anyone who is at a loose end is welcome to join me. Leaving clarks beach about 5:15. Might go for a fish also.

24 scallops in one drag, threw 4 of the smallest ( but still legal) ones back, went home, took longer to shuck the scallops and wash the ski than actually do the drag.
might go again tonight.

That sounds too easy. I'll have to come out one evening and go with you and perhaps a bit of fishing as well. My brother lives at Waiau Pa so I can call in there for dinner afterwards. perfect.

Re: Scalloping on the Manukau tonight
Tis very easy at the moment, looks like it will be a good season for Scollies
Didn't Go last night as I was a bit *cough* soft.. was a bit rainy and windy to be pleasant.
By All Means Scowner, Come on out.
Ive been a bit preoccupied of late looking after / building several websites for people and haven't had much time to myself so I have thrown that in and plan to spend a lot more time out on the ski. I went for a walk a couple of nights ago along the beach and there were some BIG snapper carcasses (been filleted) that had washed ashore which is a good sign for me to get the hell out there and catch some haha!
