Stink Baiting on the Muddy tomorrow AM

I am planning to fish around the Mako Point, Big Bay Area with the wife in the morning. Departing Clarks Beach about 9am.
The Clarks Beach Channel has recently had markers put in it so its now easier for newbies not to hit sandbanks. Will be hunting Gurnard and Snapper.

Are softbaits no good on the muddy due to water clarity........
Let us know how you go. A few carrots would go down well, none have showed up on this side yet.

Got a couple of carrots last week in the gulf.. not huge but good sized.
Have a spot I want to try sit on and burley, so no better time to baitfish !
