Yamaha FX140

Got a mate who is interested in a FX140, I know the guys with the 160's rave about theirs but i know nothing about the 140's except they were the first 4 stroke yammy, to me they look like a GP1200 hull with a 1000cc 4 stroke engine. Anyone know much about these?
