Hey Guys, anyone else going to be out in the gulf this weekend?
Im going out saturday on the ski and staying with my olds on their launch on saturday night, then will fish sunday and head back about lunchtime.
I will be around waiheke somewhere on VHF Channel 69.
Might see you out there!

Re: saturday / sunday fishing ?
My plan is to head out from Kaiaua on Saturday. The ski's got a full tank of gas so we may do a bit of travelling to try some new areas if the current forecast is correct.
The plan was also to head out on Monday but the forecast 25 knot SW doesn't look very nice!
May go out on Sunday if we are feeling up to it (which probably means all day)

Swasy and I (and maybe another one or two) will be hitting Takapuna boat ramp tomorrow morning early (5.45am) to head out to the back of Waiheki for the day... been great reports of fish, dolphins and whales out there at times so well all keen to see what we can do.
We will keep checking on channel 69 for you guys... see you out there!
