Re: Sat 31 early start - bucklands
Well best you all do the right thing and advise us on your success and failure from your outing so we can hone straight in for the kill Sunday morning.
Hope you have a good one.
High tide is at 6:05am with a 2.7M tide so the current won't be too strong if you hanging out in any main channels.
First light will be best or late morning around 10:00am when the bite time will run for an hour or so. Anything in between may be a little slow. First light often produces as this is when predatory fish make the most of nocturnal types scurrying around finding cover whilst the light increases, so that first 1.5hrs from first light can be excellent.
My call would be if nothing by 8:30m either head home or wait it out until 10. Between this time either aimlessly drift around or if equipped with a sounder move, move and move and locate solid schools (sign) and place your twitching softbait in the middle. This will hopefully be enough to tempt one to tangle with ya. However as most on here will attest to we have had days with so much sign you could almost walk on water and struggled to get a decent hit. Anyway thats fishing folks.
