Thought I'd have a look at this site as Andrew says they copied a lot of the original ideas from this forum and then added a lot of their own.
Quite biased towards the American market (as I guess we are to the NZ market) but some interesting stuff once you register. They also seem to be lacking a viable off the shelf rod holder preferring the "hours in the garage" models, though most do not look like they would survive either NZ UV rays nor some rough handling as plastic or alloy pipe construction

Would love to have some of the info on their front page on our forum front page but suspect they host their own forum rather than using forumotion.net - stuff like the forecast for the California coast etc.

What would be nice would be to have a site in NZ that had up to the minute readings on swell and wind in different spots around the gulf.
