Friday AM ...... Anyone Free
My plan is to get out Friday before the hoards of boats & launches flock out on Saturday for the long weekend.
Windguru picking is 7-9 knots from ESE. But after last Sats mission I wouldn't really care if it was 20+ the rough water got me wanting more
Either going out from Bucks and fishing locally or........trailering ski down to Kawakawa Bay and shooting over to Coromandel Mussel Farms, Happy Jacks (huge Gannet Colony) and surrounding islands with plenty of deep water. I am yet to go over to that area, so will be a good exploration mission. Then back in to Shag, a scenic ride around Pakatoa etc will be thrown in the mix.
So if anyones is keen to make their long weekend start a little earlier then let me know.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As memphis has said in a previous post, during next week or next weekend (weather dependant) I am planning to ride from Bucks up to Kawau, fish around there, out to Flat Rock then home with Tiri in the mix at some stage. Will make for a good ride, new area to adventure and there should be some monty workups along the way.

I am in, kids are being picked up today so I will prepare for some different fishing scenery tomorrow. Totally keen on Happy Jacks, weather dependant and definetly keen on a 5.30 am start for the bottom end of Waiheke, some kingfish territory! We will stop for an early lunch at a beach, should be a great morning...
Any petrol heads try join us, so far it is the Three Musketeers, Innsie, 2extreme and I, looking forward to the Jet Raider big air on the way home.

Re: Friday AM ...... Anyone Free
Love to join you guys but have my performance review tomorrow, booked since last year
Been a while since I did a decent trip like our Channel Island excursion so would be keen for another big trip sometime if anyone else wants to do something similar over the long weekend, otherwise the Kawau trip sounds like a bit of me too.
Have a great day!

Re: Friday AM ...... Anyone Free
Will be launching at Bucklands Beach around 5:30am ish. Memphis it will be a big trip for you down the bottom end of waiheke from Browns Bay. Totally doable on a full tank if you cruise. You may need to meet us down there is coming past Musick Point (near Bucklands) at 5:45am isnt possible for you. It would be a dark trip from Browns Bay and unless you have done it a half dozen times I would be inclined to say wait until you have enough good light. Not sure what my recommendation is to be honest........ anyone else got any ideas??? Thinking of safety and fuel for Memphis.

Re: Friday AM ...... Anyone Free
Welldone Memphis looking forward to seeing you. The road is The Parade, Bucklands Beach. The ramp is opposite Devon Road, which happens to be my road, for some reason the closest is always the last to arrive....funny that !!
Wind forecast for tomorrow is fluctuating from 6 to 9/10 knots with the odd puff hitting 12 knots, so bugger all really. The bottom end of waiheke is stunning and so remote, yet so close to Auckland.
We will be aiming to leave the ramp at 5:40am at the latest, so text me or andrew if you are going to be late.
There must be some more keen and "cough cough" sick tomorrow.....lucky I am on leave !!

Only some when purchasing a house have the luxury of buying at their favourite ramp Mark must have done a typo, the skis will roar in to life at 5.30am and be off on our mission, anyone late can guzzle some extra gas and catch up. Get out of bed earlier 2Extreme

Re: Friday AM ...... Anyone Free
So it's the four clowns then I'll be there to help 2-xtreme nana down the ramp and launch off earlier Andrew. Given I'm on a seadoo and you boys are Yamaha passionates... you'll probably want me to leave 30 mins earlier cause I wont be able to keep up
See you at the ramp. Rain or shine it'll be fun. Full tank of gas and all ready to go. Hope I don't wake at 3am this time!
Just had a thought... if I wake early I may go out before 5:30. If I do, I'll text you Mark and meet you on water by east side Crusoe.
