JETSKIFISHING CLUB Empty JETSKIFISHING CLUB

Post  2-EXTREME Thu Feb 05 2009, 20:46

Hi all, just letting you know that I am in the process of forming an affiliated fishing club for Jetski Fishos.

The club will be the Auckland Jetskifishing Club and will have associated benefits to its member that I will inform you about over time. The club newsletters, events, meetings, competitions, members and information will be contained in its own section of this forum. I will keep you posted as I progress.

I would like to encourage any other regions around the country to form similar clubs as those fishing off Jetskis in your areas grow. I belive that over the next 12 months there will be several clubs around the country, which we could all get together once a year for a National Jetskifishing Tournament in addition to club run events.

An additional benefit of forming an affiliated club is we can enter into other big fishing tournaments around the country at a price that I will be negotiating with tournament organisers, as we typically have one person per ski as oppossed to multiple anglers in a boat. Tournament entries are usually for a boat with up to 4 anglers and this does not make it economical for us to participate.

The benefits of forming Clubs is taking this fantastic growing sport to the next level.

Let me know any positive feedback or constructive points you would like to add, but if you have any negative comments best you keep them to yourself.

Thanks

Mark
