Tried to raise you on the VHF last night Fishoe..
Man kawakawa bay area is small on a ski, I could have gone anywhere last night, took under 2 mins from Kawakawa to ponui. was very slow fishing, Saw Matt95's mate in his tinnie by the wooden lighthouse, I got a few good hits but didnt pick up a fish until about 7:15 first one was a 40cm kelpie, second one of 37 came about 3 mins later on a curried chicken shad, then it went dead after about 20 mins so i headed out deeper to 17 meters, got one about 45cm and that was it for the night, caught the 45 on pink shine, by this time it was about 5 to 8 and light was fading with a few boats headed for kawakawa, so I started up and headed in.
Didn't get home until 9:40 by the time i stopped in to see a mate in papakura.
