Weekend fishing??
Well... its been a month now and my ski has yet to see the water, so I am very keen for this weekend!
I know the weather is not looking hot, but should it be a little rough, maybe a river run as suggested earlier by Swasy may be the choice of the day..?
Anyone interested? I think you can put the ski's in at Mercer, and head upstream to Huntly.... Hopefully Swasy will help me out with the details!
Hope you are all well.... haven't heard as to if I will have to sell the ski, so think I will use it while I can just in case!
Regards everyone

Weekend Fishing
If you decide on a river run give me a text- I'm 3 minutes from the river at Tuakau bridge which has a good ramp.
You can get about a 25 minute run towards the Port no worries ( after that it's " supposed" to a ski free area )

Hi Guys
I have been on a "poker run" late last year and we went from the "Elbow" boat club, we went up to the bridge at Rangiriri was a good run. could have got to Huntly no problem.

Re: Weekend fishing??
Keith and I ahve been talking, and we are both keen (weather depending) to try to get out on the water at some stage...
Generally we feel that fishing may not be the main objective as weather is looking off, so a ride and wave jumping maybe the plan...
We are both really keen for a run on the Waikato... but again the weather may prevent us from being motivated enough to commit.
Will call you Doggie should we decide to go, otherwise we will look forward for another opportunity soon...
