Hi Pete,
Do you fish out of the Tauranga harbour? if so would be keen to join you on a fishing outing.
I fish off the Mount & like you find that plastic is the way to go, so will be reverting to 3/0 ratio on soft baits, rather than current 1/2 used at present with bait fishing.
Are you based in the Eastern part of the Bay or do you prefer to fish that part of our coast? & if so what is access like? (havent yet done a beach launch, havent got 4 wheel drive so launch of boat ramp at Sulphur point) Would be keen to catch up & get some ideas & tips.

Steve

Hi Guys,

I try to go fishing most Saturdays from Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui about 6-6:30am.

I'd love to go a bit further out but, would prefer company for safety. Often fish off A bouy or around Matakana or inside the harbour when it gets a little rough.

Hi I like to get out when I can, anywhere in the Tauranga area is good,
Pilot Bay, or the Fert works ramp or the Kaituna river are all good options,
prefer Saturday or Sunday mornings, and holidays.
call or email me if your planning a trip softbaiting.
