Monday 1st June AM
I will be heading out Monday morning, if anyone else is keen to join me or catch up on the water. Will be launching from Half Moon Bay around 6:30am. Wind at this stage is looking around 12 knots from the south.

Re: Monday 1st June AM
I'll see if I can escape. Will prob launch at Bucklands and wait for you/others. Where are you planning on going and for how long? Was out on Thurs with a friend and we caught nothing! First time I've had that happen.

Re: Monday 1st June AM
Good if you can. I will plan to head out the the Haystack/Noises vacinity first and then go from there. I will only be out for a few hours, enough to bin a good feed!!

Re: Monday 1st June AM
I guess we'll be getting wet then. Winds that strong may make it a bit challenging to go out to the Haystack? I've been out in worse but wasn't much fun. Still planning on going out Mark? I will if you are. Neil

Re: Monday 1st June AM
Forecast went up to Fishoes chart now back down to around the 15-17 knot mark, with it dying down towards midday, then up again in the arvo. Wind against 3.1M tide however will certainly make for a fun trip. My plan is now to head around the northern side of Waiheke which will be very sheltered and look for birds working in close along the coastline down towards Gannet. Will be launching around 6:45am from HMB. Interesting about Browns Fishoe, might check that out on my way back.

Re: Monday 1st June AM
Other option is to hunt around kelp lines of the reef systems around the bays towards the city. Forecasts are all different so will make a plan once on the water.

Re: Monday 1st June AM
The back of the Noises chasing Kelpies Certainly aint 20+knots right now as forecasted so who knows what the wind will be in the morning. Innsie I will swing past B Beach ramp, or alternatively you could launch at Half Moon Bay. I don't launch at Bucks as I don't like to put my ski on the beach etc. Anyway I have your number in my phone.
You on your own Fishoe or is Jaza getting wet to?
Cheers

Re: Monday 1st June AM
Meet you at HMB. Never launched there. Need rope to tie to dock while parking or what? May get one of you to hold the ski if I can't find any. I'll be there by 6:40am. 2 extreme - put your no. in my ph also. Cheers Innsie
