Well I love it and the wife say's I "pimped" out my ski and thinks I'm mad

Welcome aboard. I thought jetski's were for hoons too. That's why most of us bought them - the speed, power and fun!Very Happy But hey multi-use, i.e. being able to tow the kids in a biscuit, then ride off into the distance and catch some fish (while in your man cave for an hour or two) is awesome and you'll get out to places quicker. Softbait's the way to go! See you on the water sometime.

Welcome Wetscreems, great to have you aboard on the site. There is plenty of tips and support here, we all started green once upon a time. Feel free for any suggestions on what would make the side more informative, as there is definetly room for improvement.

Cheers, Andrew

Welcome aboard, nah they are not for hoons but some hoons give the lot of us a bad name. great sport, the boat will get even less uses now and how many people leave their boats idle most of the year anyway!

I don't think the boat will ever get used any less the family love it to much and so do I but the jetski is my escape from everyone and everything else just me and the water and hopefully some fish. At Matarangi you only need to go 2miles off the beach and your into fish deep water nice and quick from the house to the ramp or beach out for an hour or two nobody asking me to bait their hook or take the fish off or untangle their line thats the real reason I have taken up this sport just me and some quite time doing what I enjoy quietly!!! cheers

You nailed that one perfectly Wetscreems. I would suggest the phrase "A Quantum of Solace" may even sum it up nicely.

- Peace and quiet
- No waiting for anyone at the ramp
- Go where you want, when you want
- No-one giving their opinion and forcing you to change your mind
- For some on here...no whining from the opposite sex about too rough, too cold, too bumpy, too smelly !!!

This list could go on I am sure !!
