Fishing spots
Anyone like to collate a few good spots to fish from jetskis around the Auckland area.
Have only been out once as have to fit around other things at home and so would love to hear of any places that people go to and find a little bit more success than I had by Motuihe Wharf (off Andrew's GPS spots on the jetskifishing website).
Once it gets a bit more settled it might be easier to plan a weekend trip without always cancelling due to bad weather.
Anyway some spots to start with would be a great help.
Just as an aside - does anyone know why you seem to get different areas on maps from Google Earth when putting in a GPS reading from a GPS unit?

Re: Fishing spots
Fish tend to move around alot and winter fishing is harder than in summer . I have been following some of the others on the forum to different spots and they all seem to produce at different times , so i guess the key is to be patient wherever you try . I purchased Xspot cape to cape to help me out , this shows the hotspots for fishing in the Hauraki Gulf and further . Your welcome to have a look if you like , send me a PM .
