I have wrangled a day off on friday and the weather looks to be around 10 SW with a northerly swell
Probably will go from Beachlands or somewhere depending on tide and weather etc.

Weather Looks OK but not fantastic, Have a couple of spots around Waiheke that id like to visit.
If anyone else is keen to tag along let me know, may even let you in on my 'secret' boat ramp

Weather has just improved, looks like a could be fairly flat

Cheers Mark, Might postpone yet as I got work stuff that cant be left, Im hoping i still get to go, our San switch is having connectivity issues with the tape library so I gotta sort that out before I can leave! Curses!

caught 3 snaps and 2 kahawai the other night after work, Also got a massive hit on my rapala in the river, unsure what it was but by the time i put pressure on the line and stopped the ski there was nothing there.

Hi I will try to join you too , I will leave Bucklands beach about 8.30-9.00am. If I don't see you there I will monitor CH.6 on VHF.Hope this wind will come down.
