TenaKoe!
Im planning to hit my local tomorrow am. Going to head to the destruction alley area, and sit inside the bar, will be leaving about 7am'ish from Clarks Beach yacht club.

Re: Manukau Bar, tomorrow AM
was blowing 25-30 knots south west yesterday and yet it was calm in lea of the Ahwitu peninsula ( as always on a SW or W )
Got 3 kahawai, 4 snaps, biggest was 48cm Dad got smoked by what im sure was a kingi, pretty much roasted his shimano slade fx4000.. darted around like a king and was pulling line like the drag on the poor little reel was nothing! we were in a work up at the time..
Only went as far as grahams beach as there was a fair bit of swell coming down past big bay and the old boy was moaning about the pounding ( he would never make it on a ski lol) Lots of sign on the sounder, but think we were off the bite time
my neighbour went out and sat in the river and got 9 snaps and 2 trev's between him and his mate.
