Saturday Early AM
Will be heading out first thing launching from Bucklands Beach. 15 knots from the West. Bite time not until later in the day, so just going for the early morning session.
Probably hit Haystack/Noises area first then work my way back dependant on result.

Re: Saturday Early AM
What sort of time you going out?
Could be interested as no other familky activities tomorrow.
What is BB ramp like in a westerly? Could almost launch from Eastern Beach at 6am as 4 hours before high tide maybe??
Anyway get back to us about what time and I'd be intersted in seeing how to softbait properly as yet to catch anything on the jetski.

Re: Saturday Early AM
Tide will be too low at Eastern and its hard for me not to use Bucklands ramp when it is at the bottom of my road.
Will be leaving there around 5:45am ish so if anyone is there I will see you then, if not will catchup on the water. Haystack will be pretty exposed to the westerly but wind with tide out there want be too rough but drift speed maybe too fast......not sure where I will end up. Maybe just Sargeants and Crusoe to start with or even Motuihe???? Who knows, I will just go with whatever seems right in the morning. I will be on a fish hunting mission so will move all over the gulf
VHF CH6 or 021502289 (text as opposed to ring, easier to reply to on the water)
Cheers

Re: Saturday Early AM
Am all geared up and will try and be there towards 6am as take nearly 20 mins to get to BB ramp from home.
May try around the sargentsa channel as the wind maybbe a bit stronger out wider. But we'll see what happens
