Re: Scuba off a jet ski
If you have a look at my photo you can see my dive gear straped to the back of my ski.I take someone to man the ski when i am diving. I found the hardest part because the ski is not at anchor the person on the ski would find it hard to stay in the same place. So with me swimming and them drifting we got a long way apart. The way that i fixed that was to get a dive float and tow it with me and they just follow that. It can be a bit hard to get your gear on in choppy seas so pick your days. I found if you getting kicked around on the top just get you gear on and go down sort the rest out on the bottom. soo much ezeyer

Re: Scuba off a jet ski
HI guys just discovered the forum top stuff. Anyway Myself and a few freinds do a fair bit of scuba and free diving off our ski's .Most of our diving is done on the ocean back beaches along the Victorian coast (Im from Aus) I will try and dig up some pics of the racks I have made that carry twin tanks and also large boxs when we are freediving that carry all our camera gear. I try and do a bit of fishing from the ski but not much of a fisherperson .

Re: Scuba off a jet ski
Here are the pics I promised. The basket was too light made from ali new one is made from all stainless steel with a higher bar close to the seat that hold 2 rod holders and then cooler box gets tied down and can also hold 2 20ltr jerry cans if needed.

This how I traqveled around Wilsons Prom (southern tip Of Victoria )We did around 150 klms that day in every possible condition including 100+ klm wind lots of fun had to rest up in the sheltered bays.
[img][/img]
This one is my mates scuba set I helped build works perfectly He uses velcro straps to hold tanks in place alnong with his fins all the rest of gear goes in front hatch
[img][/img]
This one is how we do our extra long distance trips gives us a safe range of 250-270 klm at around 50klms hr
