Seadoo opinions/ recommendations/ biases
My old GTX ( about 130HP I think) can get me up on one ski but it's a bit more of a struggle than behind a boat so more power would be nice. Also, the 16 year old son is keen on trying a bit of wakeboarding (me too actually).
I'm guessing 155 HP is good for fishing, fule economy-wise but will it be enough for water skiing? Does a 215HP feel a lot gruntier than the 155HP? (on paper it obviously should but on water is there that much difference?)
Anyway, would be interested in knowing any opinions on Seadoo Jet skis people have and would a 155HP be enough to cover the best of both worlds. Any other commments on the most stable models for fishing would be most welcome.
P.S. haven't asked about Yamaha as I don't really know much about these skis so planning to stick with whats familiar.
Cheers
Logan

It's probably the GTX that I'll end up getting but was not sure whether to go the 155 or the 215.
The GTX is a nice looking machine (your pic) and it is reassuring to hear that the 155HP pull a water skier ok.

Sea Doo dilemma solved
Not many 2009 and 2008 jet skis left it seems.
Ended up buying a 2008 RXT-X and traded in the 1999 GTX Ltd.
Looking forward to trying out the new 4 stroke - just have to register the damn thing.
