I am staying at Waihi beach over Waitangi weekend, would be keen to catch up with anyone there for a fish (I will be heading out anyway) plenty of people are catching Kingies just by trolling a Rapala in from the bar, so I intend to give this a go and if the weather is good will be also heading to Steele's Reef.

Hi Andrew,

Only got home last weekend and been trying to catch up all week. Won't be able to make Waihi which is a shame as I want to have a go trolling around the bar. We were up there a few weeks ago and my mate spotted a huge Kingie behind the bar!!! But, when you've been away for 2 weeks, you need to spend a bit of time at home. We've also got kids sports day!!!
