Sounder placement for fx ho. Empty Sounder placement for fx ho.

I been looking at using the drink holder and a tube to mount a sounder I noticed it doesnt feel that strong on a fx ho.............has anyone had problems with it breaking?????????? Not sure if its solid enough............I just want to mount a Lorance GPS sounder combo.

I note pictures of the Ray Marine setups people are using mounted this way...............any problems with it?

Andrew of Jetskifishing sells the mounting platform for the yamahas as can be seen in his photos. I would PM as he has sent several to Aussie already.
