Andrew... keen to join you but don't see the need to come over to leave from half moon bay... adds another hour to my trip. I'll head out from Takapuna (weather permitting) and meet you over there...

Are you keen to meet at the Motiuhe Channel around 6.30 am and see how the weather is, if we are to go further! I can explain exactly if you are keen.

Sounds like a plan to me... not sure exactly where you are meaning, but can I assume that it would be the main channel between Motuihe and motutapu islands?? That looks like it is the most central point for us all to meet!

Yes, exactly, we will be around the water tower area, or along the reef towards on the side of Motuihe, I will have my PH 0274 864 560 if you can't find us, not sure what we are in for weather, and who will brave the elements.

Okay... all sounds great... I'll solo till I meet up with ya, and my phone number is 021358351 in case you need to call... I'll have it with me at all times...!

Will probably text to check up in the morning if the weather looks bad... the report suggests it would be so much better than today so who knows!

Can't believe it... First attempt at fishing off my ski and it develops a misfire and lack of power before we get out of the 5 knot zone, only had it's service 3hrs ago so its back to the shop tomorrow to sort it out. Hopefully I can get out next weekend.

Sorry to hear Paul, as you will read I had similar issues, not at all like a PWC!

Well team I am sorry that I missed you all, but really wasn't feeling too well so wanted to make sure that I enjoyed it.

I did head out for a couple of hours this afternoon, but have to say that I am keen to see what setup's you all have and where exactly the fish are... didn't even get one bit today! Thats fishing...

Book me in for anything next weekend... the ski is all fueled and ready to go... just need a time and place!

Good to hear you gave it a go. It is always a little hard work, to kick start as early as we did today, let alone with the flue! Blonde Mandy and I are venturing for some Whangamata jetskifishing Labour Weekend, but the rest of the crew will be keen if the are in town to take you out in the Gulf. Someone will post some details of day and time for best weather window and I am sure you guys will have some stories to tell when we get back. With the longer hours of daylight and better fishing coming, we are also flexable for after work fishing in the next week. We should also plan a full day trip soon to the work ups, once everyone has full confidence and ready for the full on action!

Sounds great... and should you like another ski to join you Labour weekend, I could certainly be keen... don't want to cramp your style or anything, but if you are happy for me to tag along for the day, I certainly could be in!

I finish late week nights (around 7pm) so nights are not so hot for me... I'll keep watching for anyone keen for a spin over the weekends...

Have a great week team!

To Michael, weather not that great for Labour Weekend and long way to go to Whangamata for a day trip, the locals will definetly be going out around the Hauraki Gulf. If weather looks better for Whangamata, I will let you know and you should come down , otherwise have fun with the rest of the crew.

Hi there mate... and thanks for the invitation! I have just looked up Whangamata on google maps, and now have realized just how far away it really is... might stay around here and try my hand at local fishing!

Thanks anyway...
