Welcome to Jetskifishing and some basic requirements on how to get started Jetskifishing

Hi, the www.jetskifishing.co.nz forum is designed around educating other interested PWC users the reasons why they should give jetskifishing a go. There is only so many PWC riding hours you can do, before the novelty wears off. Jetskifishing creates many more hours of fun a jetski, with the buzz of catching fish.
Our community here at Jetskifishing have taken the first step in creating the jetskifishing network, after many requests from guests to our existing website.

Register yourself a user name and you can then start posting on the jetskifishing community. P.S. You don't need a jetski to register on our forum!

SOME BASIC REQUIREMENTS TO START YOUR JETSKIFISHING ADVENTURES

A reliable late model 3 seater, 4 stroke Jetski.
Education on how to ride a jetski.
Local knowledge of where you will be riding or otherwise a charted GPS to acknowledge danger areas in waterways.
Appropriate safety equipment for emergencies on the water, including a VHF.
Register with the coast guard to receive your call sign
A rod holder kit with a chilly bin to store your fish, we recommend the "Ultimate Rod Holder" kit available on our members page or call Andrew on + 64 21 864 560
A quality fish finder that will cope with the elements while jetskifishing.
A soft bait fishing rod and reel set.
Gulp soft baits and spare tackle requirements.
A net, small gaf and knife.
